Halloween can be a scary time of year.
But there’s nothing to be afraid of when your friends at Futiva are behind the tricks and treats. Recently we partnered with the Southern Illinois Miners for an early Halloween celebration on September 2.
Children of all ages showed up at the ballpark ready for some candy. And we were ready to oblige. Futiva team members were on hand handing out sweet treats to ghosts, goblins and ghouls. During the game an elusive Pokemon Go character also made an appearance. Pikachu made a stop at the Futiva suite and visited with our general manager. Despite needing to hold on to Pikachu for some big points, we decided to let the creature go.
Futiva is a firm believer in giving back to the community. Partnering with the Southern Illinois Miners is a natural fit as we are able to reach out to more families in the region. Kids walked away that night with candy, pencils and other treats. Their parents were able to learn more about the services Futiva has to offer.
